Cartology’s Campaign of the Year Awards return for 2025, as a celebration of the effectiveness of retail media.

The Awards will see the overall 2025 Campaign of the Year recognised alongside seven category winners across Best New Product Launch Campaign, Best Omnichannel Campaign <250k, Best Omnichannel Campaign >250k, Best use of Digital and new categories including Best use of Customer Insight, Best use of Creative Canvas and the 2025 Partner of the Year Award.

Cartology New Zealand general manager, Samantha Osborne says, “We’re thrilled to be launching the Campaign of the Year Awards for another year, with even more categories to recognise what’s truly important in retail media, and the great work our clients are doing in this space.

“Last year, we saw a great demonstration of collaboration and use of insights, and after a year of innovation and growth, I’m looking forward to seeing the calibre of submissions this year.”

Mondelez, Nuromol and Swisse Wellness NZ were all recognised in the 2024 Campaign of the Year Awards.

Confidence boost

2024 Best Consumer Campaign winner and Cadbury’s senior brand manager Nicola Robertson says, “Winning a Campaign of the Year Award with Cartology gave us the confidence in our Retail Media strategy which is further evidenced by the great campaign results we’ve seen. The Cadbury Snack Stop campaign was a game changer for our portfolio of brands that we couldn’t have achieved without true collaboration that started the moment we kicked into planning.

“The combination of strategic media placement, innovative in-store execution and data-driven insights ensured our portfolio of brands were front and center and offered great value for shoppers every week of the campaign. Seeing the campaign surpass expectations, setting new sales records and driving customer acquisition was a testament to the strength of this partnership.”

Award nominations for 2025 are now open via Cartology, with the awards night to be held on October 30.
