IMANZ brings Funnel’s intelligence platform to Aotearoa
The Independent Media Agencies of New Zealand has announced a partnership with marketing intelligence platform Funnel.
This alliance brings global data automation and governance directly to Aotearoa’s independent agency ecosystem, combining IMANZ’s commitment to supporting homegrown agencies with Funnel’s robust data infrastructure.
“IMANZ is all about giving New Zealand’s independents a stronger voice,” says CEO Simon Teagle. “We’re a champion for the innovation that indies deliver. This partnership provides our members with the advanced tools they need to navigate industry change, win more business, and deliver stronger outcomes for local marketers.”
Distinct value
Used by agencies across the globe, Funnel is designed to transform complex, fragmented marketing data into trusted, business-ready insights. Funnel director of APAC Adam Stead describes the platform as having distinct value.
“For agencies, it’s a mission-critical platform allowing them to automate reporting and tie media investments to real outcomes.”
Funnel automatically collects performance data from over 600 digital media vendors and platforms, centralising it into one secure hub. By normalising metrics and handling currency conversions automatically, Funnel ensures accurate, real-time data is always ready to feed straight into client dashboards.
Data at the core
For Funnel, championing independent businesses is an essential part of its global mission.
“We know that the independent industry is in more need than ever to innovate and find better and more efficient ways of working, and we believe we can play a big role in helping agencies on this journey,” says Stead.
“If data is at the core of your strategy, you can really differentiate yourself with holistic, insightful reports that help clients truly understand the value you’re delivering. And as AI becomes central to how agencies operate, the importance of having reliable data that you can trust only grows – it’s the foundation everything else is built on,” he adds.
