Built from the ground up by MediaWorks, the new rova is redefining what entertainment looks like in Aotearoa.
While it still has live radio and on-demand listening, the redesigned platform is now packed with video, articles, events, competitions and more. It’s a full-spectrum content hub already delivering a 35% lift in active users.
“We’ve rebuilt rova to be more than a radio app,” says MediaWorks’ director of content Leon Wratt.

Better than an upgrade
To mark the launch, rova is giving away a brand-new CUPRA Terramar SUV. The campaign is simple: Catch rova, win a CUPRA.
Developed by MediaWorks’ creative studio Passionfruit, the campaign puts users at the heart of the action, encouraging them to ‘steal’ rova content for their chance to drive away in style. It’s just the beginning of more exciting collaborations to come.
