Together creates new head of content & social role

Together has appointed Jessica Beckham to the new role of head of content & social, further strengthening the agency’s growing content, social and creator offering.

Beckham joins Together from PHD, where she was also the head of social & content. She brings extensive experience in leading integrated social, content and creator strategies for major brands.

Engaging content

In her new role, Beckham will lead content and social strategy within Co:Lab, Together’s adaptive content and creator team. Working across strategy, creative, production and media, she will develop integrated content programmes designed for the way audiences discover and consume content today. This includes through creators, communities, search, AI assistants or brand-owned channels.

Alongside creator partnerships and social strategy, she will help clients build adaptive content programmes informed by the agency’s Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) approach, ensuring content is not only engaging for people but also structured and optimised for discovery by AI platforms.

The appointment comes at a significant time for Co:Lab, following its recent appointment by The Warehouse to deliver content and social services.

Connection and collaboration

Beckham brings extensive experience leading social, content and digital strategy for some of the world’s most recognised brands. Her career has included establishing the Harrods’ social customer service team and developing the retailer’s social strategy, before leading McDonald’s social media at OMD and winning a Gold Pressie Award for the acclaimed “Do You Want a Job With That?” recruitment campaign.

She says she was drawn to Together’s integrated approach and entrepreneurial culture: “Connecting and collaborating with people has always been my passion, and in the world of social and content, that’s never been more important.

“We’re at such an exciting point in the industry, with AI transforming the way we work, the creator economy continuing to accelerate, and audiences expecting more authentic, engaging brand experiences than ever before. Content and social are critical to modern brand growth, but success comes from connecting creativity, media and data rather than treating them as separate disciplines. Together has built an exciting model through Co:Lab that genuinely reflects this, and I’m looking forward to helping shape the next stage of that journey with the team. Like me, Together is ambitious, and I’m excited to be part of what’s next.”

Navigating the way forward

Together managing partner Rufus Chuter says Beckham’s appointment reflects the agency’s continued investment in capabilities that help brands respond to changing consumer behaviours.

“Jess brings an awesome combination of strategic thinking, creative leadership and platform know-how. As brands increasingly need content that’s culturally relevant, channel-native and machine readable, she’s exactly the kind of leader that can help our clients navigate the way forward.”
