OMD celebrates outstanding recognition at the 2025 Festival of Media Global Awards

OMD New Zealand has achieved an impressive seven shortlist entries at the 2025 Festival of Media Global Awards.

This represents 16% of the equally impressive 43 OMD global shortlist entries.

Such a remarkable accomplishment also highlights OMD’s commitment to excellence in media strategy and innovation on a global scale.

OMD New Zealand head of strategy Jono Allen says: “The opportunity for media is to create interesting and meaningful interactions that consumers want to engage in. In collaboration with our partners, these campaigns really lived up to that ambition and it’s great to see that effort recognised.”

This achievement aligns with the recently released RECMA results for March 2025, Allen adds. These results further solidify OMD New Zealand as one of the most consistently recognised media agencies, both locally and globally.

OMD New Zealand CEO Nigel Douglas says: “We are incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and creative ingenuity that has led to this outstanding recognition.
