We thought a fried chicken-flavoured nail polish was bad, but that was only the beginning for KFC. The restaurant chain is now embracing summer with a chicken-scented sunscreen that promises to keep you feeling delicious.
The fast food retailer got American actor George Hamilton on board to fill the role of Colonel Sanders in the ad.
Hamilton has the complexion of a Dorito at the best of times, so he fills the crispy, golden brown role well.
If you were hoping that the suncreen would leave you smelling like the KFC Original Recipe’s 11 herb and spices, you’re in luck.
Using undisputed science, KFC says the suncreen makes the “harmful ultraviolet rays bounce off your skin” while “fragrance rays” rise off the skin to create that deliciously greasy chicken aroma.
The chicken chain was giving away 3000 bottles of the sunscreen for free online, but due to extreme demand it unfortunately ran out.
With reviews like the one below, it’s not surprising.
