Across the ditch: Boyd PR highlights South Australia for Kiwis next holiday

Boyd PR have recently launched a virtual media kit in partnership with the South Australian Tourism Commission to help drive interest towards South Australia as a tourist destination.

South Australia TV (SATV) is a virtual travel experience, with animation designed by Mr Mustard Motion Graphics, that takes viewers on a journey through the deep south, while in the comfort of their own lounge. The media kit aims to highlight South Australia as a holiday destination for when travellers are able to book again.

Hosted by New Zealand chef Sean Connolly, content includes online cooking cooking demonstrations, virtual wildlife tours, wine tasting and musical performances, all regularly uploaded to showcase the best of the Australian state.

Boyd PR managing director John Boyd says the campaign has shone a light on South Australia during a crowded domestic market.

“Although Kiwis are currently unable to travel to South Australia, or anywhere overseas, we want to ensure the region is front of mind when borders reopen.

“The last few months have been extremely difficult for the tourism industry, but I’m proud of the way our team has been able to adapt and develop creative solutions to continue delivering results for our clients.”

Since 2018 Boyd PR has worked closely with the South Australian Tourism Commission to promote Adelaide and South Australia as a top choice for Kiwi travellers.
