New global marketing and comms lead at Shuttlerock
Creative technology agency Shuttlerock has appointed Sian Church to lead global marketing and communications.
Based in Auckland, Church will spearhead Shuttlerock’s global marketing strategy, shaping its brand and storytelling efforts.
Church brings extensive experience across PR, brand and marketing for high-growth technology companies. She has a strong track record of helping ambitious businesses move from early traction to global recognition. Most recently she was at Sling & Stone, one of the region’s most respected communications agencies.
A pivotal moment
Church joins at a time when the digital advertising industry faces growing complexity.
“Marketers are under pressure to produce huge volumes of engaging content across fragmented channels and in an AI-driven landscape, success depends on delivering on-brand content to the right audience, on the right platform, at the right moments,” she says.
Shuttlerock aims to address this problem. Through its proprietary platform, AI-powered technology and human craft, global brands can efficiently scale content that’s fast, adaptable and optimised for each platform.
“Reaching consumers on a personal level is one of the industry’s toughest challenges and one Shuttlerock is uniquely positioned to solve. I’m joining at a pivotal moment in the company’s journey, with a significant opportunity to accelerate growth and establish Shuttlerock as one of New Zealand’s leading global success stories,” says Church.
Founder & CEO Jonny Hendriksen says: “Sian’s experience building the profiles of some of New Zealand’s most ambitious tech companies makes her exactly the right person to lead this next chapter for Shuttlerock. As we scale globally, having a marketer who deeply understands both brand and growth is a genuine competitive advantage. I’m delighted to welcome her to the team.”
