Colenso gets its Brits out

Colenso BBDO executive creative director Nick Worthington has beefed up the agency’s roster with a couple of new foreign imports after snaffling young UK creative team Will Bingham and Victoria Daltrey.

Bingham and Daltrey originally teamed up at Central Saint Martins Art College in London and, on graduating, won a year-long scholarship sponsored by Diageo to work at three of its roster agencies, AMV BBDO, JWT and BBH.

The pair was then hired by BBH and spent the past five years there, during which time they were named Campaign’s No.1 young creative team of the year, producing campaigns for Levi’s, British Airways and Audi.

Worthington, who was chosen as an elite jury member for the elite Titanium and Integrated award at Cannes and has recently been joined by new deputy creative director Levi Slavin, previously with Saatchi & Saatchi London, says it was great to be able to lure the talented pair to Auckland.

“I am really excited Will and Victoria are joining us from London. Together with the appointments of Levi and Tom (Paine), it’s a great start to 2010,” he says.
