TVNZ extends partnership with IMANZ

TVNZ has announced the continuation of its strategic partnership with Independent Media Agencies New Zealand (IMANZ).

The partnership reflects TVNZ’s ongoing commitment to ensuring independent agencies have direct access to its audiences, insights and content opportunities – helping their clients connect with New Zealanders through trusted local media.

Offer what independent agencies need

IMANZ CEO Simon Teagle says the enduring alliance with TVNZ underlines the important role independent agencies play in New Zealand’s media and marketing landscape.

“Partnering with TVNZ gives our members a genuine advantage. Their local scale, trusted content environments and audience insights are exactly what independent agencies need to deliver stronger outcomes for their clients. We’re proud to continue building this relationship.”

Representing TVNZ, general manager sales James Butcher highlights the broadcaster’s unique positioning in an increasingly globalised landscape.

“TVNZ is Aotearoa’s leading local video platform, bringing Kiwis together through trusted news, local storytelling, sport and entertainment across TVNZ 1, TVNZ 2, DUKE and TVNZ+.

“What makes us different is that we’re local at scale, deeply connected to New Zealanders, invested in local stories and uniquely able to help Kiwi businesses connect with audiences in moments that matter,” says Butcher.

“Independent agencies play an important role in the New Zealand agency landscape, and we want to make sure IMANZ members have seamless access to TVNZ’s audiences, insights, content and partnership opportunities. Ultimately, our focus is on helping agencies and their clients leverage the full value of TVNZ’s local scale, trusted environments and ability to connect with New Zealanders,” he adds.
