Spacefor hits 100 bookings as demand for IRL experiences grows
Brand experience platform Spacefor has reached its 100th booking, expanding its client base both locally and overseas.
Founded in 2023, Spacefor offers two short-term, design-led pop-up spaces, both located in Auckland’s Britomart.
The spaces enable e-commerce and regional brands to meet customers in real life – without the overhead of a traditional lease.
Founder Max Mamaev says demand in Auckland is showing no signs of slowing, with bookings already locked in as far ahead as May 2026.
Local companies Moodi, Pals and Fix & Fogg and international players including The ICONIC and Owala are among the brands that have used Spacefor, he adds.

When online becomes real-life
Each space contains in-store analytics, digital screens, point-of-sale and modular fixtures, creating fully customisable retail experiences.
Agencies including Bastion Shine, Hearts & Science and Chemistry are also turning to Spacefor to bring client projects to life in the heart of Britomart.
For many, the platform has been a launchpad, says Mamaev.
FTN Motion unveiled a new bike at their pop-up before opening a permanent showroom in Britomart. Porter James Sports also ran three activations before establishing its Newton store. Meanwhile, bakery Fankery turned annual Pavilion appearances into a permanent Newmarket home.
“We create a new model for brands to show up in real life. Spacefor bridges the gap between online and offline, giving brands the flexibility to connect with customers in ways that feel meaningful while still being agile,” he says.
