NZME’s Imprint competition returns to celebrate innovation in print advertising
New Zealand Media and Entertainment‘s Imprint competition is returning for its third year.
The competition celebrates the strength and effectiveness of print advertising, challenging participants to demonstrate how their campaigns maximise the medium’s potential through innovative creativity and strategic ad placement.
The winner will win a New York experience for two: return flights, five nights’ accommodation, tickets to an experience (Broadway show or a sports game) and a tour of the New York Times.
Expanding reach
Following its results over the past two years in the agency market, and increased engagement from advertisers, the competition is now open to the broader NZME advertiser community.
The competition’s success has been further demonstrated globally with Imprint placing third at the 2025 International News Media Association (INMA) Awards in the ‘Best idea to grow advertising sales’ category.
Greg McCrea, NZME chief commercial officer – agency, says: “We’re thrilled to bring Imprint back for its third year, as the momentum and strength we’re seeing across NZME’s print portfolio continues to grow.
“Imprint provides a fantastic platform to celebrate the outstanding effectiveness being delivered in print by our clients and agency partners.
“As print continues to demonstrate its power to connect, captivate and drive results for brands, we’re excited to once again shine a spotlight on the exceptional work being produced across the industry.”
Celebrate print’s creative potential
Katie Mills, NZME chief marketing officer, says NZME has a number of exceptional print platforms that empower advertisers to showcase their products and services creatively.
“With great engagement across our print platforms, advertisers stand to gain huge benefits – it’s fantastic to see Imprint celebrating print’s creative potential and the commercial power of a great idea.
“We’re looking forward to receiving outstanding entries from talented marketers and creatives across the country,” she says.
