The Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) has unveiled the 50 finalists for the 51st annual PRINZ Awards.
The PRINZ Awards celebrate great work in public relations and communications, highlighting top professionals in New Zealand and encouraging ongoing improvement in the industry.
They are reflected in categories which range from corporate and business public relations to internal communications, to best use of digital and social media.
The finalists have been selected following a thorough judging process involving industry professionals across New Zealand and overseas.
The judges come from agency, in-house and government backgrounds. They are overseen by two chief judges, Nikki Wright FPRINZ APR and returning Andrew Pirie, FPRINZ.
PR’s power shines in uncertain times
“It’s been a privilege to serve as co-chief judge in a year where economic pressures have sharpened the focus on PR,” says Wright.
“It’s clear the profession is playing a critical role in building trust, navigating complexity and delivering impact amid global uncertainty. The calibre of work this year shows real promise for the future of our industry.”
Pirie echoes: “At a time when people’s trust in business and institutions is being challenged more than ever, the skills of public relations practitioners are vitally important in ensuring communication campaigns have integrity and authenticity and achieve powerful outcomes.”
“The broad range of entries across this year’s categories showcases the expertise of PRINZ members working in-house or at agencies across the country.”
