Van Gogh fantasy comes alive for Airbnb

A Chicago artist is giving Airbnb users a rare opportunity to step inside a Vincent Van Gogh painting for the night.

Leo Burnett brought the painting to life by creating a life size version of the bedroom for an exhibition at The Art Institute of Chicago.

The Airbnd ad is listed under Vincent who describes the room as one that will "make you feel like you're living in a painting. It's decorated in a Post-Impressionist style, reminiscent of Southern France and times gone by. Its furniture, bright colors, and artwork will give you the experience of a lifetime".

Vincent also lists a smoke detector as a safety feature as well as cable tv and WiFi - good to see he has caught up with the times.

The room is the latest unique sleeping experience on offer on Airbnb.

In New York a Netflix and Chill room promises all the necessities to bring the meme to life - including WiFi and a TV.

While in Brooklyn, the result of a snow storm and a few beers led some flat mates to rent out an igloo to those in need of a place to sleep.

Nike encourages infants to have an unlimited future

There’s no baby talk in Nike's ‘Unlimited Future’ campaign, despite the latest film being set in nursery. Instead it sees a rousing speech delivered to infant versions of top athletes to celebrate the unlimited potential of those who are willing to go beyond their limits.

Animalistic hunger

When someone pops open a bag of chips, loudly unwraps a chocolate bar or brings out any other kind of tasty snack, our eyes can’t help but seek out the food. It’s much the same with seagulls at the beach, which suddenly become interested in you once they see you open that steaming bundle of fish and chips. Tiny Toast has drawn on these situations in two new ads, but has instead created a role reversal between animals and humans.

Yes, you certainly can

For those working in the industry, it isn't often that an ad really strikes us in the feels; however, Channel 4's spot for the Paralympics does that and more. It's a high-budget celebration of the ability of humans to overcome unfathomable disabilities to achieve what, to some, might seem impossible. And it's bloody brilliant.

Raise your paddles

There's no better way to unleash a bit of tension than by smashing a hollow piece of celluloid across a table at your agency foe. Not only does this activity carry the possibility of knocking over the drink of the said frenemey, but it also gives you the opportunity to engage in the most obnoxious victory dance ever contrived should you win. And for those who do not have the limberness to claim ultimate glory, fear not. You can still go full McEnroe upon losing every point. It's very cathartic. So, if this feels like something that you'd like to partake in, enter your team (mixed doubles or singles) into the inter-agency table tennis championships (aka the Flying Paddle), which is set to be held on Thursday, 11 August.
