Zane Furtado of Acquire makes Campaign Asia’s 40 under 40 list 2023

Zane Furtado, GM Technology and Innovation at Acquire, is the only New Zealander to be included in Campaign Asia’s prestigious 40 under 40 list for 2023.

Recognised for his contribution to media buying, data and attention metrics, Furtado’s work in the sustainable advertising space was especially noted.

Speaking on his shortlist, Furtado says: “This goes beyond personal recognition. It’s commentary on the kind of work Acquire produces and the fact that it’s recognised as a benchmark across Asia Pacific.”

Campaign Asia says his leadership has earned Acquire recognition as a programmatic and tech innovation leader with notable clients including McDonald’s, PlayStation, FIFA, and ASB.

“His impact on the agency’s growth and reputation has contributed to a remarkable 58 percent revenue growth in 2023 – solidifying Acquire as a dynamic digital contender,” the website states.

The list, released annually and now in its 11th year, celebrates brilliance within the marketing communications. A jury made up of external judges and Campaign’s senior editors selected a final list which spans 12 APAC markets including representation from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The winners come from a range of backgrounds including independent agencies, networks, media publishers, financial services, adtech, martech, PR, healthcare communications, and video marketing.
