Trade Me Kindness Stores hit the streets with help from oOh!media

Trade Me’s Kindness Store is back for another year in an attempt to spark some Christmas joy for those in need this festive season.

In partnership with Trade Me, oOh!media is executing three unique special builds in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The three bus shelters were transformed into real-life Kindness Store fronts, complete with lightbox display cases featuring products from the charities. A bespoke roof build will make the bus shelter look like a shop front awning as well as a unique Kindness Store by Trade Me lightbox sign.

Every year Trade Me works with select charities to find out what items they need the most, then go onto make the items available for purchase in the Kindness Store. Kiwis are encouraged to check out the Kindness Store, pick an item, and pay for it. 100 per cent of proceeds go directly to the charities.

oOh!media NZ’s Head of Sales, Ben Gibb says: “It’s a real honour for oOh! to be working with Trade Me to bring this special build to life. Christmas isn’t always the easiest time for families in Aotearoa, so to have something like the Kindness Store around Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch will hopefully bring awareness to this incredibly important cause.”

Trade Me’s Kindness Store spokesperson, Emma Clapperton adds: “We know Kiwis are a generous bunch, so we’re thrilled to be opening up our Kindness Store in time for Christmas to help spread some joy during a time of year that can be tough for many families. oOh!media has executed a very special build and we’re thrilled to have them on this journey with us.”

The special builds will be live around the country through until January 3, 2022.
