oOh!media NZ creates new South Island senior role
oOh!media NZ has appointed Rachael Chapman as senior business manager for the South Island.
The agency says the new Christchurch-based role will provide dedicated, on-the-ground support for clients across the South Island, where oOh! operates street and retail networks in Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin.
Chapman brings several years of out of home industry experience to the role, having most recently worked at Phantom Billstickers. Her career began in the liquor industry with Lion, before moving to Garage Project and then into media.
Exciting time to work in media
Chapman says: “I’ve spent my career helping brands grow, starting out in the liquor industry with Lion before moving to Garage Project, then making the leap into the world of media.
“I quickly fell in love with the pace of the industry and the opportunity to work with businesses of all shapes and sizes to create campaigns that genuinely make an impact.
“One of the highlights of my career so far was being part of the incredible out of home growth of the Christchurch market. It’s such an exciting time to be working in media here, with the city and wider region continuing to evolve – new businesses opening, investment pouring in and so much positive momentum.
“Being able to help brands be part of that story has been hugely rewarding. I’m excited to continue doing that with oOh!media across the South Island,” she adds.
What the clients need
Dan Claydon, oOh!media NZ group business director, says Chapman’s appointment strengthens the company’s ability to serve clients in the region.
“We’re excited to have Rachael join the team. She combines deep industry and brand-building experience with strong local knowledge of the South Island – exactly what our clients in the region need.”
Chapman is based in Christchurch and will work closely with agency and client partners across the South Island.
