To re-connect the Love Taupō tourism brand with its beloved tourists, Destination Great Lake Taupō and Sugar & Partners have released a stunning campaign showcasing everything the lakefront town has to offer.
The New Zealand tourism sector was hit hard by Covid-19 and Taupō has taken a hammering. Using breathtaking video and imagery, the campaign runs across TV, print, outdoor, social, and digital, targeting the domestic tourism market.
Inviting Kiwis to come together and reconnect, the campaign promotes the spirit of Whanaungatanga, “right in the heart of this place.” To coincide with the lifting of level three restrictions, the campaign was pulled together quickly and was a collaboration between Sugar & Partners, sister agency Social Sugar and the Love Taupō marketing team.
