Quantum Jump CEO Ben Goodale recognised in Campaign Asia-Pacific’s 50 over 50 list

Quantum Jump’s founder and CEO Ben Goodale is one of three New Zealand leaders recognised in Campaign Asia-Pacific’s 50 over 50 list.

Awarded for driving innovative marketing, Goodale has invested in his community by mentoring talent, fostering an inclusive workplace and supporting the growth of independent agencies across New Zealand and Australia.

Owe it to the team

Goodale says he owes his success to his team and clients: “It’s delightful being recognised for this accolade – and really I owe it to the very smart people I have worked with throughout my career, not least the Quantum Jump team I work with every day, and very loyal clients who trust us.

“For all the noise around rapid technology change, the core factor is that effective advertising communications work when they are grounded in an understanding of the consumer and consumer behaviour. People don’t change anything like as fast as technology – the latter is simply an enabler.”

Bold move, big success

In 2019, Goodale founded strategic marketing agency Quantum Jump and continues to innovate in CRM, loyalty marketing, CX and digital advertising.

This has led to award-winning work, such as Mitre 10 Club’s Discount Days campaign, which won Best Loyalty Programme Short Term Marketing Initiative at the Asia Pacific Loyalty Awards in 2026.

In another move, Quantum Jump expanded into Australia in 2025, with former Anomaly New York executive Rachel Wintle as GM at the helm in Sydney.

Making voices heard

Today, as an elected board member of the Commercial Communications Council of New Zealand, Goodale represents independent agencies, ensuring the needs of smaller, entrepreneurial businesses are heard alongside global networks.

As an elected trustee director of the Portage Licensing Trust, he’s advocated for fairer wages, increased funding for community groups and better hospitality. His influence has directly improved the lives of hundreds of staff and supported millions in community donations.

Before becoming a founder, Goodale had immense success in agencies, helping to quadruple the size of TBWA\ New Zealand and earning global recognition at Cannes Lions. He then went on to found the agency justONE, which grew to become the birthplace for Farmers Club and New World Clubcard. These programs are still used by millions of users today. In 2013, justONE was acquired by Clemenger Group
