oOh!media is supporting the Movember Foundation this month with a special art installation at one of its Queen Street sites, in support of Movember.
oOh! has donated the shelter for the month of November to help drive donations and raise awareness for the worthy cause.
The art installation was created and painted by local artist Lucia Laubscher, and draws attention to Movember’s key message of, “whatever you grow will save a bro”. The Movember Foundation also has words of encouragement running on the digital screen alongside the artwork.
To further support the worthy cause, oOh! will be encouraging all members of staff who are able to join in and be part the MoOh!-vember challenge by doing their best to ‘grow their MoOh!’
General Manager of oOh!media NZ, Nick Vile says: “It’s a privilege for oOh! to show support and do our part for Movember; a cause that we, as an organisation, hold very close to our heart. We’re proud to be raising awareness of men’s health issues and hopefully encourage men to speak up and put their health first.”
Movember’s Country Manager Robert Dunne is delighted to see oOh!media doing its part to support the health and wellbeing of our Kiwi men.
“Movember is focused on raising as many funds and awareness as possible to support men’s health. A key element of our success is partnering with like-minded organisations like oOh!media who share our mission to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives.
“We are extremely grateful for their support, not just with donated space for exciting, creative initiatives such as this, but also as for their continued passion as Mo Bros and Sisters.”
The art installation will be housed on Queen Street, 50m north of Wellesley St East in Auckland CBD and will be live for the entire month of November.
