Not your usual car ad

The internet is awash with creative ‘for sale’ ads, but Swedish art director Christoffer Castor is being held up as a master of the art after releasing a ridiculous—and ridiculously entertaining—video for his bright orange 1993 Volvo 245GL, which, potential buyers will be impressed to know, is equipped with both an inside and an outside.

This “masterpiece of kinetic energy” also comes with a fancy turning crank, art, spinsy wheels, a recipe holder, Hepatitis B and a ghost in the back seat. Disappointingly, it doesn’t have a wood-burning stove

Digiday had a chat with the man behind the ad and while he hasn’t sold the car yet, it’s getting a lot of media attention, it’s up to almost 600,000 views and he was pulled over by two policemen who recognised the car from the video.

Speaking of awesome ads for used cars, here’s one for the Tanry, here’s one for a Pontiac and below are a couple of expressive clips that speak of the technological wonders that are the Nissan Maxima and the Toyota Corolla.
