Gladeye leads Kiwi charge at Communicator Awards with seven gongs

The constant stream of awards ceremonies continues unabated with the release of the voluminous list of Communicator Awards winners from all over the world. And included within this expansive archive were seven awards for Auckland-based digital agency Gladeye, which won four gold and three silver gongs.

Gladeye’s own portfolio website won two gold awards in the Self Promotion and Website Visual Appeal categories. The site also recently picked up a CSS Design Award and the Awwwards Site of the Day for 18 March.

The agency’s other gold awards came in the Content Marketing Microsites category for the slick execution of ‘The Angutec‘, which incorporated animated and interactive features to provide information on a technical product.

Gladeye’s work on the VomoFiji website was awarded with a gold in the Hotel and Lodging Websites category, while it also won a silver in the Travel and Tourism category.

In addition to the gold awards, Gladeye also won silvers for recent work on the Antarctica section of the Air New Zealand website as well as for updates made to the Te Mata Estate Vineyards website.

Although Gladeye led the charge among the Kiwi entrants, Method Studios also walked away with an award in the Food & Beverage Website category for its work on the Regal Salmon website.

Given that the list of winners was quite comprehensive and that the Communicator Awards website offers no regional search option, it proved difficult to pinpoint all the Kiwi winners. If we’ve missed anyone, please email [email protected]
