There’s nothing like that new, sweaty car smell. Kia Motors America is letting its test drivers get close to their favourite NBA stars by giving away NBA-themed air fresheners.
To show its partnership with the NBA, Kia’s released an ad explaining how it’s extracted the player’s natural scent from their socks, headbands and jerseys before combining them to make team scented air fresheners.
But if you’re turning your nose up at the thought of sweaty scent in a car, know that “there are no bad smells, only bad smellers,” according to the presenter.
Clearly a good smeller himself, he describes the scents as a fresh cut rubber hose, new tennis balls and an earthy combination of coffee and an over-bred St Bernard.
However, some NBA and Kia fans have shared their own thoughts on the scents.
