IAB New Zealand’s Emerging Technology Council is hosting ‘AI & The Future of Marketing’, an event designed to equip marketers and digital advertisers with practical insights into the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence in marketing.
Taking place on May 29, this event will provide advice and real-world case studies to show how AI tools can transform strategies and accelerate business growth. Attendees will hear first-hand from leading global and local experts who are redefining the industry landscape.
Beyond the hype
IAB New Zealand Emerging Technology Council Chair Lisa Ison says, “The hype surrounding GenAI means it can be challenging to identify strong use cases. It’s a rapidly evolving space, and our goal is to share industry case studies, and expert advice to help people use the tools more effectively.”
A recent IAB US State of Data 2025 report revealed that 70% of agencies, brands, and publishers are not fully integrating AI across media planning, activation, and analysis. However, since half of those expect to be fully scaled by 2026, companies will differentiate themselves by those who have widely adopted AI vs. those who have not.*
