IMANZ bolsters its Board with Duncan Shand

Independent Media Agencies New Zealand (IMANZ) has welcomed Duncan Shand to its Board.

Shand is the managing director and co-founder of YoungShand. He brings extensive experience to the role, with a diverse career spanning media, marketing and advertising. Shand considers it an honour to advocate for independent media agencies on the IMANZ Board.

“I really believe independent agencies can provide New Zealand businesses with better brand leadership and stronger media results,” says Shand.

“I’m looking forward to contributing to the development of a growing independent agency sector that helps New Zealand businesses thrive.”

As IMANZ looks to grow its membership and forge connections with advertisers, Alex Radford – IMANZ chair and D3 co-founder – is excited to welcome Shand to the Board.

“Having grown YoungShand into an innovative and respected presence within New Zealand’s agency community, Shand brings a rare combination of strategic insight, digital expertise and unwavering dedication to the indie sector,” says Radford.

“His leadership will be a real asset as we continue to strengthen and grow the voice of independent agencies across New Zealand.”

The appointment completes the IMANZ Board. The Board also includes Kris Hadley, managing partner and co-founder of Together, Niven Boyle, managing director of The Media Dept and Elaine Gibbons, managing partner of Sneakers Media.
