Why we like it: Everyone loves origami. And pop-up books. So, as part of its big rebrand, Paper Plus has embraced both of them in these quirky, cutesy campaign.

Who's it for: Vend HQ by talented friends

Why we like it: As a founding member of the International Appliance Smashing Day committee in Dunedin, the destruction of Steve the cash register pushed all my buttons. And this surprisingly well-made film is a great way of bringing some life to POS, a realm often renowned for being a fairly dry and unsexy.

Auckland’s Shed 10 was taken over by advertising and marketing folk last night, excited to celebrate the country’s most effective marketing campaigns at the 2018 NZ Effie Awards, organised by the Commercial Communications Council in association with TVNZ.
