A depressing space

Last week we showed you the teaser released by internet company Squarespace ahead of its airing during the upcoming Superbowl in the US.

At the end of the trailer a web visitor, shocked by hit counters, trolls, epic fails and everything dark about cyberspace, waited to see if there was a better world.

The full ad doesn't really deliver on the promise Squarespace professes to deliver: a better internet. That's because talk about what's better is limited to a voiceover at the end with a sterile white backdrop for a boring looking guy scrolling through a site on his laptop.

What we'll remember is an extended version of the bad stuff, which now includes viruses, mortgage ads, discount offers and product recommendations.
