Voices of Hope shines a light on mental health with six powerful stories

Voices of Hope has launched a new campaign and website to help break down stigma around mental health.

The new campaign features six powerful stories that shine a light on personal journeys and mental health struggles. They share personal experiences with the goal of breaking down stigma, fostering understanding, and providing hope to those who may be in similar situations.

Each story offers a profound glimpse into their paths to resilience, hope, and recovery, with the intention of deepening empathy and support within the community.

The campaign launch is further elevated with a revamped website created by FCB Aotearoa. Designed to improve engagement and accessibility, the website makes it easier for individuals to connect with our stories of hope.

Genevieve Mora, Co-founder and General Manager of Voices of Hope says, “We are thrilled to launch our latest set of lived experience stories and our redesigned website and we’re so grateful for FCB’s time and expertise.

“We have been working on these projects for a few months now and to finally release them to the world is truly special. Both projects represent our commitment to sharing authentic stories and creating a more accessible platform for our community. We hope these stories will inspire and resonate with people from all walks of life.”

The partnership between FCB Aotearoa and Voices of Hope was facilitated by UnLtd Aotearoa, the social purpose organisation for the media, marketing and creative industry.

Sheryl Dunlop, General Manager of UnLtd Aotearoa says, “This is a great example of how our industry can use their skills to create real change. The skilled time and expertise that FCB has put into this mahi for Voices of Hope shows their commitment to make a lasting impact for a diverse range of communities across the motu.”

Lucy Sparks, Business Development Director at FCB added, “It has been an incredibly rewarding experience to support Voices of Hope’s mission through this website redesign project. The goal was to create a home for their growing collection of lived experience stories, enabling the team to reach more people with empowering messages of hope. We hope the new website will serve as a beacon to anyone facing mental health challenges.”
