TVNZ launches new series in partnership with ASB

Hosted by Toni Street, ASB Gamechanger will follow eight New Zealanders in a variety of financial positions and different walks of life, who have put themselves forward in the hopes of getting on top of their financial goals and wellbeing.

These Kiwis have been individually matched with an ASB Coach who over the course of 4-6 months will help them make lifechanging shifts in their personal finances through powerful interventions.

Each three-minute mini-sodes will tell a story of transformation through real-life change, inspiring TVNZ viewers with the tools to secure their own financial wellbeing.

ASB and TVNZ have a history of successful content development. This is the second series in partnership for the organisations following 2020’s ASB Backing Business.

ASB Gamechanger will air in the junction between Seven Sharp and Fair GoSeven Sharp is also home to ASB Good As Gold – which celebrates ordinary Kiwis making exceptional contributions in the community.

Of the new show, ASB CEO Vittoria Shortt says: It’s exciting to be partnering with TVNZ to showcase the ways Kiwis can accelerate their financial progress. We know the past few years have been tough for many and through ASB Gamechanger, we hope to inspire Kiwis across the country to take small additional steps to improve their financial wellbeing and resilience.”

TVNZ Commercial Director Jodi O’Donnell is thrilled to bring these important conversations to NZ audiences. “As Kiwis, we aren’t naturally open about our financial wellbeing, ASB Gamechanger is going to break down those barriers and help so many viewers at home, as they watch our brave participants strive to reach their financial goals.

“We are very pleased to partner once again with ASB to create content which will enlighten and entertain TVNZ’s audience.”

The show screens weekly on Mondays from 9th May at 7.27pm on TVNZ 1.
