Who’s it for: Burgen by Colenso BBDO and Tim White
Why we like it: There’s no ‘food porn’ to be seen, but there is a good helping of innuendo. Nicely shot, fairly brave and a bit different from your typical bread ad (check out the rest of the series here).
Who’s it for: Pak ‘n Save by DraftFCB
Why we like it: Stickman was in fine fettle last year (our faves here, here and here). And his first performance in 2014 to promote the Christmas Club isn’t bad either.
Who’s it for: Beats by Dre by Noah Marshall
Why we like it: Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has gained a reputation for quality trash talking. And he backed it up after his team smashed the Denver Broncos in the ‘Superb Owl’ (Beats by Dre also backed it up and sent every Super Bowl player a pair of $25,000 headphones). Kiwi-born Sweet Shop director Noah Marshall was on duty for this one and it shows, in slightly hyperbolic fashion, the demands media place on pro athletes.
