The Emmys are one of the most watched awards broadcasts of the year. But for viewers, the speeches are the boring part once you get past the frocks and the big gongs.

Grey Poupon and Crispin, Porter and Bogusky put their spin on a concession speech after losing the creative arts category to Canon by gathering tweets and Facebook messages to crowdsource what it would say.

We especially liked such pearls of wisdom as “Perfection is a gift” and “I’d like to thank all the mustard seeds who gave up their lives for a more delicious world”.
