Strategy Creative launches campaign for Best Design Awards

The call for entries for this year’s Best Design Awards campaign is now live, featuring handcrafted visuals brought to life through stop motion by the design studio Strategy Creative.

Strategy Creative has been a dedicated participant and advocate of the Best Design Awards since it began 30 years ago. The agency’s achievements in 2022 include securing 13 Best Design Awards recognitions, a D&AD Pencil, and a Silver Effie.

Earlier this year The Designers Institute of New Zealand appointed Strategy Creative to lead the 2023 New Zealand Best Design Awards campaign. Cathy Veninga, CEO of DINZ said: ”Strategy Creative has a long history of producing fantastic work. We are excited to work with them to launch this campaign”.

Strategy Creative has worked closely with DINZ to develop this year’s campaign that showcases the Best Design Awards, builds on the great mahi the organisation has been doing, prioritises key partners and celebrates Aotearoa’s deep design roots.

This year’s ‘Bestival’ campaign by Strategy Creative is a visual feast bringing together the celebrations and tribulations of the design world with the fun and wonder of carnivals.

Through the ‘Bestival’, Strategy Creative aims to deliver a rich concept and visual identity, while balancing systematic thinking with expressive design work.

Fraser Callaway, Managing Partner of Strategy Creative adds: “We look forward to the Best Design Awards every year — so it’s an honour to add our flavour to this year’s campaign.”

The Best Design Awards 2023 will take place in Auckland on October 6th and the call for entries opened on April 3rd.
