International awards ceremony, The One Show, which celebrates the best in the advertising and design business, has crowned Special Group as New Zealand’s Agency of the Year.
Widely known as America’s biggest and toughest advertising show, and one of the creative world’s big three shows, The One Show has been around since 1973.
This is the second time in three years that Special has been ranked as the #1 NZ Agency. Denstu Creative came in 2nd, with Tribal Aotearoa ranking 3rd, The Monkeys 4th and Colenso rounding out the top five.
Following a world-beating year creatively, this year it was Special’s effectiveness that was on full display. Last Performance for Partners Life was awarded a silver for Brand Partnerships in the Creative Effectiveness category, as well as a merit for Single Market effectiveness. The Silent Night for Wellington City Mission also received a merit for Single Market in Creative Effectiveness.
