RUN’s Raymond McKay set to be a juror for the Clio Awards

RUN Co-founder and CCO, Raymond Otene McKay, Ngaati Mahuta, Ngāti Rongomaiwahine, Ngāti Porou and Ngāti Pūkeko, will be a juror for the prestigious Clio Awards for 2022.

The Clio Awards reward and acknowledge excellence within the advertising industry, celebrating bold and innovative work and creating a community for all creatives to connect.

McKay will be a part of the Print and Out of Home jury, joining other leading Creative Directors from all around the globe.

Having honed his skills at the biggest network agencies in Aotearoa, including Colenso BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Clemenger BBDO, TBWA Whybin, Lowe, Draft FCB, DDB, and 99, McKay went on to start his own agency RUN in 2016.

Being indigenous to Aotearoa, his is excited to share his unique cultural perspectives with fellow jurors and the wider Clio community.

“It’s an honour to represent Māori and Indigenous people from around the world, and be an example for rangatahi, so they see themselves represented at the highest levels,” says Raymond.

The final deadline for the Clio Awards is February 4, 2022, with the results announced April.

McKay is one of two jurors from Aotearoa, the other being Jolin Lee from Motion Sickness.
