Mango PR introduces new role, headed by Jill Dryden

Mango PR has announced today the introduction of a role to further the groups’ corporate communications. Jill Dryden has stepped into the new role effective immediately.

Dryden has been working with Mango since 2018, and comes from a senior practitioner role across Star Public Relations, Porter Novelli and Network Communications.

Claudia Macdonald, Mango’s managing director, says although they have always offered corporate relations, issue management and stakeholder engagement, higher demand has meant Drydens new role was a necessary one.

“The demand for strong strategic corporate communications closely aligned with emotionally resonant marketing communications has grown in the past few years and we realised we’re very well positioned to meet that demand,” she added.

“With Mango I’ve been involved in some significant and interesting work over the past year, from the development of a comprehensive hapū and external stakeholder programme for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Whai Rawa to the rebrand of financial sector leader FNZC to Jarden,” Dryden says.

“At a time when reputation, transparency and purpose are more important than in any other decade, it’ll be exciting to see what this move brings.”
