
LUMO expands network, acquires GLOBOX
Kiwi DOOH operator LUMO Digital Outdoor has announced its acquisition of regional digital billboard operator GLOBOX, strengthening its network reach and marking its expansion into New Zealand’s regional markets.
The addition of GLOBOX to LUMO’s DOOH network provides advertisers with access to over 100 screens across the country with new screens are set to switch on in Rotorua and Whangārei.
Meanwhile Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton and Tauranga will see an increase in coverage, complementing the New Zealand-owned operators metropolitan footprint.
A natural fit
LUMO Digital Outdoor Co-Founder and CEO, Phil Clemas says, “Globox has created a very successful digital billboard business in the regions, and its acquisition is a natural fit and extension of the LUMO promise”.
The acquisition now sees LUMO delivering premium DOOH reach to nearly 3 million New Zealanders every week.

The extended network will be available to advertisers from June 2, following LUMO’s full suite of data, screen technology, and measurement systems integration.
