Liking in the real world

Do you know a business or marketing department that could benefit from real-time reassurances of their supposed awesomeness? You might want to treat them to a ‘fliike’ Facebook like counter.

Created by Smiirl (who say they are a passionate team working hard to give internet a tangible reality) the Fliike device hooks up to the web and the company’s Facebook page and then ticks over whenever they get a new ‘like’. Can’t wait for the day when we can like real objects in real life.

A limited run of 500 of the retro-styled devices will be released at the end of this year costing €300 each, and narcissistic knobs can pre-order them here.

Here it is in action.
