All Blacks take Jockey’s ab show from the catwalk to digital media

Following their appearance on the catwalk for New Zealand Fashion Week, the All Blacks have taken their sculpted bodies to the screen in a new campaign, via Parlour, for Jockey.

Called ‘Good Morning’, the campaign shows DJ Forbes, Anton Lienert Brown, TJ Perenara and Ardie Savea get ready for the day while Will Hall, former Shortland Street star, joins in. However, they did miss one important part of getting ready and that’s getting dressed. Instead, they’re only seen in Jockeys.

And, if the TVC wasn’t enough, the boys in black, or should we say boys in jocks, have been setting shoppers hearts aflutter in videos on oOh!media’s dynamic retail Shopalives screens via OMD.

The OOH campaign was supported by a live stream of the half-hour Jockey fashion show last Friday on 18 of the digital panels in six New Zealand shopping centres.

Jockey marketing manager Will Radford says seeing the All Blacks in their Jockeys has become a highlight of Fashion Week.

“We know that people look forward to seeing the boys on the runway and this year we’re making it bigger and better for the launch our ‘Good Morning’ campaign,” he says.

“It’s the first time we’ve taken a live stream of our show into shopping centres and we’re excited to be able to amplify it to more shoppers all around the country.”

Not appearing on the catwalk was Hall, despite having stripped off alongside the All Blacks since early last year when he made his debut playing the part of the ‘Real Man’ in the ‘Real Men’ campaign.

His eagerness to get up close and personal with the All Blacks has since made him a regular in Jockey campaigns and his latest effort to match his Jockeys with the All Blacks shows he’s well on the way to take the ultimate All Blacks fan role off Richie McCaw’s best mate Tim.
