Invivo celebrates latest drop with Graham Norton

Last week Invivo & Co celebrated the launch of its most recent collaboration with Graham Norton, Graham Norton’s Own Italian Sparkling Rosé, with a Drink Pink event at the Morningside Tavern.

The new pink bubbly has been made in response to the growing number of Kiwis wanting affordable, quality sparkling wine, and is a welcome partner to the already popular Graham Norton’s Own Prosecco.

“Our customers have been very excited about the arrival of the Graham Norton sparkling rosé to New Zealand, particularly on the back of the growth on the Graham Norton Prosecco,” says Invivo co-founder Tim Lightbourne.

“The sparkling is made by our same Italian partners to ensure consistent quality and style.”

The new Graham Norton wine taps into the growing popularity of Prosecco, as well as the emerging trend of Kiwis looking for pink drinks and dry styles of rosé wines.

Earlier this year, Idealog spoke to Lightbourne on the brand’s marketing campaigns which have often included Graham Norton and Sarah Jessica Parker themselves. Along with behind the scenes of Norton tasting his wine samples, Invivo has also had live chats with wine.com where thousands of consumers from across the world have tuned in. Parker has also participated in calls with both retailers and consumers to give insight into her latest creations.

“We use the PR machine all around the world for insight into the partnerships and collaborations. Our marketing campaign, every year around the same time, is focused on the blending process of the wines before we release them,” says Lightbourne.

With a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand Rosé, Aussie Shiraz and a Prosecco from Italy, Graham Norton and Invivo & Co are celebrating producing their 10 millionth bottle of wine this year since the partnership began in 2014. The partners also produce two gins (one pink and one Irish) in collaboration with a boutique distillery in West Cork, Ireland under the Graham Norton’s Own Wine and Spirits brand.

Invivo & Co’s Drink Pink event was a celebration of the brand’s delicious offerings, including Graham Norton’s Rosé Prosecco, Sarah Jessica Parker’s Rosé, Graham Norton’s gins and a delectable ‘pinksecco’ cocktail on arrival.
