Lotto New Zealand’s Instant Kiwi brand has appointed TBWA NZ as its lead agency.
TBWA will provide Instant Kiwi with end to end work from strategic planning through to creative content across their scratchie products, as well as being tasked to build their online business.
In the announcement, Annemarie Browne, chief marketing officer of Lotto New Zealand, says it’s been working with the leadership team at TBWA for the past few months and have a great connection and alignment on the ambitions for Instant Kiwi instore and online.
“For more than 30 years Instant Kiwi has given New Zealanders the opportunity to have a bit of fun and perhaps win some cash, all the while raising money for worthwhile community initiatives. We’re looking forward to tackling our online future with a fresh agency team, a new perspective and some really great work.”
Catherine Harris, chief executive of TBWA Group NZ, adds it’s looking forward to applying TBWA’s disruptive thinking to the business as it embarks on a new growth phase.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Instant Kiwi team so far and are looking forward to bringing their online future to life.”
The first Instant Kiwi campaign by TBWA will launch this month.
Earlier this year, Instant Kiwi celebrated its 30th birthday with a campaign Assignment Group. Assignment Group joined forces with Y&R in Wellington to form VMLY&R’s Wellington arm.
