HP gives Grey new role in South Pacific

Hewlett-Packard has announced the appointment of Warwick Grey as the marketing manager for its South Pacific personal systems group (PSG).

Grey, previously the marketing manager of HP’s PSG in New Zealand, will now be responsible for the marketing of HP’s personal systems business across New Zealand and Australia and will research, design, develop and implement marketing strategies across the entire PSG portfolio, which includes HP’s commercial and consumer notebooks and desktops, monitors, workstations, thin clients, handhelds and retail point of sale devices.

Grey will be focused on maximising revenue opportunities and increasing market share across the PSG business, working closely with HP channel and product marketing teams across the region.

“The HP brand has never been stronger in our region. I’m looking forward to implementing campaigns that continue to drive New Zealand and Australian consumers and businesses to choose HP PSG products,” Grey says.

In his last role with the company, Grey set up the HP New Zealand Marketing Council, was awarded a number of internal HP achievement awards, won an HP Asia Pacific Leadership Award in 2007 and was given the ‘Most Significant Contribution to Business Support by an Individual’ title as part of the Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards in 2008.
