Following a competitive pitch process, independent Auckland-based agency HeyYou has been appointed across creative, PR and social for new luxury opening The Mayfair, in collaboration with Maverick Digital.
After a $23 million investment and a four-year design and build process, The Mayfair will open in central Christchurch at the end of June this year.
The boutique hotel on the corner of Victoria and Dorset streets is modern-minimalist in style and features rooms with panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows, taking in Hagley Park and the Southern Alps.
HeyYou Partner and Director of PR, Content and Experience Fleur Skinner says the hotel is a perfectly timed addition to Christchurch with both a local and global appetite for new experience.

Likewise, the team behind The Mayfair brings a wealth of experience and energy to the new opening. General Manager Rick Crannitch has returned home to take up the role, bringing his own international luxury hotel expertise. Crannitch says the vision for Christchurch’s newest boutique offering is ‘refreshing’.
