EightyOne welcomes new people, clients and business

EightyOne’s announced Chris Bleackley as its full-time executive creative director alongside the appointment of new team members and a new offer called Drive-thru.

Bleackley has been working for EightyOne and Assignment Group for the past year and will now work exclusively for EightyOne.

In March, Assignment Group and Y&R NZ joined forces to form the local arm of VMLY&R. The move saw Assignment’s team in Wellington relocating to Y&R’s current premises.

Alongside Bleackley moving to a full-time position, EightyOne has also bolstered its team with Erwan Elmayan and Justinee Senee from ad school in Paris, as well as Karen Priest and account director Penelope Hobbs from London.

The new hands on deck will help with new clients, including Consumer NZ and the NZOC, to EightyOne’s new content company, Drive-thru.

Drive-thru will offer cost-effective short-form video and content for all social and digital channels.
