Dentsu Aegis continues its good run as Vizeum wins Fletcher Building account

Dentsu Aegis-owned media companies are currently going through a good patch. Only a few weeks after the announcement that iProspect had won the Les Mills account, the agency network has now confirmed that Vizeum NZ has won the media account for Fletcher Building after a competitive pitch.

As is the case with Les Mills, the Fletcher account also has an international remit, with the locally based agency responsible for Fletcher’s media strategy, planning and buying on a global level. Fletcher previously employed multiple agencies across each of their business units.

This is the first time the company has consolidated its media into a single agency and Vizeum’s scope of work includes management of Fletcher Building’s full suite of brands across New Zealand, Australia, USA, Europe and Asia.

Vizeum agency director Richard Hale places great significance on this win for the agency.

“This is a transformational win for our agency, and we are proud to have come out on top in one of the biggest pitches to take place in New Zealand over recent months,” he says.

“Fletcher Building is an iconic New Zealand business and the win adds to the already strong momentum for our agency this year. The team is very much looking forward to the opportunity to drive real business results.”

According to Nielsen data, Fletcher Building has spent between $5.9 million and $6.7 million on advertising in the local market over the last three years.
