Colorsteel is bringing back a familiar feline face to help tell the story of a new product which it is calling a game-changer for the roofing industry.
Bella the cat was Colorsteel’s roof quality judge in 2022 and returns in this year’s campaign with DDB Aotearoa to announce Activate technology, a high-performance metallic coating, designed to deliver enhanced corrosion resistance as well as the perfect blend of flexibility, strength and durability.
“To celebrate this stellar news, we’ve brought back Bella, our feline critic who became the ultimate roof quality judge in 2022,” says Karla Fisher, Managing Partner DDB.
“In this latest chapter, we expand Bella’s story to dramatise the striking appeal of Colorsteel Next Generation with Activate technology.”
Expect more from your roof
In their first ad, Colorsteel emphasised that their product was so good that the neighbourhood cats would run away from home just to sit on it – including the main character cat, Bella.
In this iteration, Bella’s still up on the roof, but spies an even better roof next door, complete with Activate technology – and a love interest. Bella quickly ditches the old for the new, enticed by Colorsteel’s beauty, enhanced performance and a fluffy friend.
The campaign encourages Kiwis to expect more from their roof, to demand better and nothing less than high quality and beautifully stylish designs – all things Colorsteel deliver on, every time.
