TBWA\NZ promotes Joseph Judd to Head of Strategy

Award-wining strategist Joseph Judd has been promoted to the Head of Strategy at TBWA\NZ.

Judd brings with him experience working across Greater China, New Zealand, and Australia, with his work winning effectiveness and creative awards at major shows including D&AD, Effies, WARC, and others.

In Shanghai, Judd was Associate Strategy Director APAC at WPP working on the Ford account. He then moved to BBH Shanghai where he was Strategy Director and later Head of Strategy, working on Google, Samsung, Starbucks, Heinz and MINI.

Catherine Harris, TBWA\NZ CEO says: “Joseph is one of the most disciplined thinkers I have worked with and is at home across a range of strategic disciplines. He is also leading our  end-to-end integration of Disruption Accelerator, our global data driven insight offering.

“Joe has done an incredible job with us, delivering award winning strategies, winning pitches, and helping us transform the breadth of our offering, by working alongside the leadership team to accelerate our vision for the agency. He is such a great human to have on board – incredibly smart and a straight shooter. His promotion is so well deserved, and his talent and skillset are exactly what our clients are asking for.”

Shane Bradnick, TBWA\NZ Chief Creative Officer says: “Joe is an absolute legend, he’s already made a massive impact on our work, and the agency as a whole. This is a well-deserved promotion.”

An entrepreneur at heart, Judd is also co-founder of the award-winning Peddlers Gin Company.

On his appointment Judd says: “I’m excited to continue working with the TBWA crew as we expand our team and capabilities. The breadth and scale of the work we’re doing across the group, both here and abroad, is truly unique. We have some of the best planners I’ve worked with on the team, the Group talent is exceptional, and our clients are outstanding partners. It’s a fun culture to be part of.”
