Senior creative Simon Wharton joins Bettle & Associates

Bettle & Associates have appointed creative Simon Wharton to add depth to the agency’s creative offering.

Wharton, most recently with The Brand Agency largely on Bunnings, has worked with Lion’s Share, Goodfolk, .99 and Clemenger BBDO. He has been recognised with industry awards for his work with New World, NZ Coastguard, Genesis and NZTA.

“This is a really important hire for the B&A team,” says Bettle & Associates creative director Adam Lurman.

“So we’re stoked that Simon has joined us. He’s an accomplished copywriter and smart conceptual creative, but he also has a mature approach that fits with the evolving nature of the work we’re doing with our growing list of client partners.”

Wharton will work closely with Lurman across all of the agency’s brands, which, among others, includes Beaurepaires, Challenge Fuel, DairyNZ, DeLaval, Fonterra / Farm Source and Soudal.
