Richard Pook expands product role across dentsu ANZ

Dentsu’s Media Business has announced the launch of its newly formed ANZ product team, headed by Richard Pook as Chief Product Officer.

Pook’s role will be to accelerate dentsu’s product strategy and development across the region and support dentsu Media with best-in-class solutions. This will support the global practice development as part of dentsu’s continued transformation plan. 

Pook moves into this position after five years with dentsu Aotearoa as GM of Platforms & Partnerships, bringing global commercial experience across data, technology and product that will supercharge the scalability of products in Australia and New Zealand. He most recently was awarded the Interactive Advertising Bureau NZ Digital Product of the year Grand Award for D4, dentsu’s proprietary dynamic, multi-platform advertising technology that is being scaled across the region. 

Rob Harvey, CEO, dentsu Aotearoa says: “Having witnessed Richard’s entrepreneurial spirit and ability to create market leading products first-hand, I have no doubt the expansion of Richard’s role across ANZ will only accelerate and further scale our digital product development for the benefit of our clients. The dentsu Programmatic and Ad Operations team under Jon Devereaux’s leadership will move to report to Managing Director, Media – Richard Hale.
