Nikki Stevens joins NZME as general manager of Wellington and Australia agency team

NZME has appointed Nikki Stevens as the general manager of its Wellington and Australia agency team.

In taking on the role, Stevens moves from her position as general manager of MediaCom where she’s been for nine years. She’s also done nine-year stints at Total Media and Y&R.

NZME’s head of revenue, Paul Hancox, says Wellington and Australia are important and successful markets for NZME and Stevens will add knowledge to both the client and media sides.

Earlier this year, NZME changed the structure of its agency team and opened a Melbourne office in response to the growth within the Victorian market.

Stevens will commence her role later this month and will be based in the Wellington office from January.
