Go Media appoints Angel Butler as sales coordinator

Go Media has welcomed recent graduate Angel Butler to its Auckland sales team, appointing her as sales coordinator.

Butler holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland, majoring in marketing and management.

She brings hands-on experience from internships and professional development roles, including a marketing internship with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Whai Rawa, where she worked across communications, activations, website content, e-newsletters, stakeholder engagement and merchandise.

Tonica Alatini-Cassie, Go Media group sales manager, says: “Angel stood out because of her attitude, willingness to learn and the skills she had already developed through her studies and internships. We saw someone who could make an immediate contribution while continuing to grow within our business.”

Butler’s appointment also reflects the agency’s passion for creating pathways for Māori and Pasifika talent to enter and thrive in an industry that has historically lacked representation, says Go Media.

“Diversity brings different perspectives, stronger ideas and deeper connections with the communities we serve,” says Alatini-Cassie. “If we want our industry to remain relevant, we need to make sure it reflects Aotearoa.
